The MILL Academy
We are thrilled to announce that the building work at the Mill Academy was successfully completed in August 2023, leading up to the grand opening of our primary school on September 4th with eight (8) students. Currently, we have fourteen (14) eager pupils who have started their educational journey with us. This deliberate 'soft' start, slightly exceeding our initial target, signifies the beginning of our mission to provide high-quality education to the community's children.
Our strategy involves organic growth, starting with enrolling students primarily in kindergarten and progressing one grade each year. We maintain a vision of limiting class sizes to a maximum of 15 students, totalling 105 students across seven grades. Under the capable leadership of Kisma Jn Pierre, our dedicated Principal, we have assembled a talented staff team prepared to adapt seamlessly as our student body expands.
At the core of the Mill Academy's mission is an unwavering commitment to offer exceptional education to children facing financial constraints. To uphold this ethos, we are actively seeking sponsorships or donations to support deserving students with assisted places. In our second year, our goal is to provide support for fifteen (15) students to nurture a conducive learning environment for their development.
Our School Fees Assistance Programme (Winter 2024) also seeks external support to enable high-quality education for children whose parents cannot afford full tuition charges. We have created an application programme for prospective parents, offering discounts or bursaries up to 50% of the full fee based on the family's means. We are looking for benefactors to 'top up' these discounts to ensure the Academy receives the full fee in each case, with options to support a student for a year or their entire primary education over 7 years.
For benefactors interested in supporting a student's complete primary education while following their progress at the school, arrangements can be made with mutual consent from the student and parents.

Support a child as a Silver Partner by donating US$7,500. Your donation will help this child pay for their tuition for 1 year, purchase the necessary books, their school uniform, pay for transportation and more.
