The Journey begins
Hello, and a very warm welcome to
The MILL Academy!
Hello, and a very warm welcome to The MILL Academy - Primary School and Educational Development Centre! It has been my dream to create The MILL Academy over the last 20 years, and watching this dream come to fruition has been both a rewarding and humbling experience. As our students walk through our doors, it is my hope that they will walk into a space that feels like their home away from home.
Our goal is to inspire our students to take risks, speak their truth, and be their authentic selves. We hope to make every day filled with excitement and anticipation as students explore their surroundings and manipulate things in their environment as an integral part of the learning process. Although there will be weekly and daily schedules, these will remain fluid according to the needs of our students.
We look forward to partnering with you because we value parental involvement and believe that supportive families are extremely beneficial for emotional support and learning. We are excited to see the impact of our unique pedagogical approach. We firmly believe that The MILL Academy will have a positive impact on our students' learning, behaviour, and their emotional intelligence.
As we prepare to navigate our founding year, we look forward to a future filled with adventure, learning, reflection, resilience, courage, and joy!

About Us
The MILL Academy was created for children with big dreams. Kisma Jn Pierre was resolute in her pursuit of funding to establish The MILL Academy and eventually found a kindred spirit co-founder and investor. Together they are equally passionate about providing an exceptional educational experience housed in an environment that nurtures a growth mindset and a culture of excellence.
It is always amazing to see what one person can start but even more amazing, to watch wonderous possibilities unfold when a community of people come together!
Our Team
